About Capt. Chip

Capt. Chip Berry is a licensed Real Estate Broker for Intracoastal Realty Corporation in Wilmington, N.C. He specializes in coastal and waterfront properties in Southeastern North Carolina, and in boating-related real estate in the expanded geographic areas of Cape Lookout N.C. to Georgetown, S.C.  Chip is a native of Marion, South Carolina but also grew up in Garden City Beach, S.C. where he and his family have a long respected history in boating and sport fishing.

He has been a resident of Kure Beach, N.C. since 1997 when he moved here to promote his interests in coastal real estate and to centrally locate his mapping business of 20 years, Maps Unique, Inc.. Chip is President of Maps Unique, a licensed boat captain and his company produces and distributes offshore fishing charts for the southeastern United States.  You can visit the links page to get more information on Maps Unique.

Chip has extensive knowledge in land resources and development, where he served as the Planning Coordinator for the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources for 14 years. He has also served in various conservation capacities such as President of the S.C. Wildlife Federation and an Advisor to the South Atlantic Fisheries Council and the Central Midlands Planning Council. He is a graduate of the University of South Carolina where he earned a degree in Geography/Biology.
